Watershed Stakeholders Meeting

The City of Biddeford and the York County Soil and Water Conservation District need your help to develop a locally-supported watershed management plan as a proactive approach to protect and improve the brook while continuing to allow smart growth within the watershed.

Please join us to find out what we’ve learned about the Thatcher Brook and how you can help with this process as we look to complete the Plan this winter.

The City of Biddeford filed a Notice of Intent (NOI) with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) on July 26, 2013 to obtain coverage under the Maine General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from the City of Biddeford’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MER041021) effective July 1, 2013. Below is a copy of the NOI that was submitted to DEP as well as the public notice that has been posted to the City website.

Notice of Intent to Comply with the Maine General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from The City of Biddeford to Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems Please take note that the City of Biddeford has filed a Notice of Intent (NOI) to comply with the Maine General Permit for the Discharge of Stormwater from the City of Biddeford’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems. The City has filed the NOI with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
