Background

Because the City receives federal funding through the Federal Aviation Administration for capital improvements at the Airport, every three years it must develop a plan for utilizing disadvantaged businesses on federally-funded contracts. The Airport’s next three-year plan and goal are due to FAA no later than October 30th, and part of the goal-setting process involves allowing the public to review and comment on the plan/goal for a period of 30 days.
