As part of our Public Safety Education program, our Department uses a state of the art mobile Fire Safety trailer. Designed and built by the firefighters, this unique education tool is used to educate the public, young and old the importance of fire safety in the home.
The Fire Prevention, Inspection and Investigation division is under the direction of the Deputy Fire Chief Paul R. LaBrecque
The office provides inspection services in such areas as commercial and industrial properties, new building construction, wood stoves and chimneys.
The Biddeford Fire Department strongly supports programs such as Learn Not to Burn, Juvenile Fire setter Program and Public Safety Education.
Our department has been using the Fire Safety House as an effective means of educating students as well as the general public on areas of fire safety.
