The City of Biddeford, dubbed one of Maine’s most resurgent communities, has an exciting opportunity available for a Part-Time Account Clerk. This flexible schedule position will be ideal for a retiree or stay at home parent seeking flexibility and control over the work schedule while continuing to maintain that work life balance so often craved. The responsibilities of an Account Clerk include receiving and receipting payments for property taxes, sewer fees, and vehicle registrations; the issuance of licenses and permits such as sporting, dog, beach, mooring, business and shellfish; and, responding to all vital records requests including birth, death, and marriage certificates and licenses. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills. This position will remain open until filled with review of applications beginning on September 20, 2018.
