Mr. James Bennett
City Manager
City of Biddeford
205 Main Street
Biddeford, ME 04005
Dear Mr. Bennett,
Under the Maine Freedom of Access Act § 402 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of public records of all emails between the City of Biddeford and Mr. Jason Litalien from Oct. 1 to present.
If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me if the cost will exceed $20. However, I would also like to request a waiver of all fees in that the disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest and will contribute significantly to the public’s understanding of the injunction proceeding. This information is not being sought for commercial purposes.
If you intend to deny this request, I will expect to hear from you within the five business days mandated by law. Also, if you expect a significant delay in responding to this request, please contact me with information about when I might expect copies or the ability to inspect the requested records.
Thank you for considering my request.
Sincerely,
Abigail Worthing
