Food or Meal Distribution for All Ages

Seeds of Hope (35 South Street): Offering brown bag meals Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - noon. Food pantry/limited dry goods available Friday.

Bon Appetit Meal Program (19 Crescent Street): Offering brown bag service Monday - Friday 4:30 - 5:30 p.m.

Meals on Wheels: Continuing to deliver up to five meals each week to eligible program participants. Click here for more information.

Biddeford Food Pantry (162 Elm Street): Open Tuesday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Volunteers will bring food out to your vehicle.

Stone Soup Food Pantry (180 Main Street): Open Monday - Thursday, 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Each person will be walked through the pantry one at a time, and it is asked that only one person per household attends.

Youth Full Maine Food Distribution (Biddeford Middle School, 25 Tiger Drive): Thursdays 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Free food curbside distribution in the Biddeford Middle School bus loop. Items vary week to week: produce, dry goods, toiletries, meats and dairy later in the fall and winter. Open to everyone!

York County Shelter Programs’ Food Pantry (5 Swetts Bridge, Alfred): Offering a drive-through service with pre-packaged boxes of food. Open on Fridays and Tuesdays from noon to 3 PM.

Commodity Supplemental Food Program (New Life Church, 551 Alfred Street): On the fourth Tuesday of each month from 12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. residents ages 60+ can pick up a free 30-pound box of food.

You can also apply for assistance with food through our General Assistance program. Conditions must be met to qualify. Eligibility is being determined through phone applications only. Please call 207-284-9514 for more information. Someone will be available to assist you between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Food Distribution for Youth 18 and Under

The Biddeford and Dayton School Departments, in conjunction with the USDA, are providing lunch and breakfast to all youth 18 and under, regardless of income. More information...

BIDDEFORD:

  1. ONE curbside distribution site at Biddeford Middle School from 10:00am-11:00pm, Monday through Friday. 


MONTHLY FOOD DISTRIBUTION:

  1. Curbside pick-up on the third Wednesday of the month from 3-5pm at John F. Kennedy School, 64 West Street in Biddeford. This distribution is open to all residents and ages.


Apex Community Bicycle Center (45 Granite Street): Free lunch for those ages 18 and under is offered from 12:15 - 12:45 p.m.

If you are in need of assistance with grocery shopping, prescription pickups, or transportation medical appointments, please contact General Assistance at 207-284-9514. You will be asked for your name, phone number, address, and need, and your information will be passed along to volunteers.
