Good Afternoon,

I am requesting April 2021, May 2021, and June 2021 merchant statements from the following Biddeford parking operations:


1. merchant account that is used for any smart parking meters (if applicable) located throughout the City.
2. merchant account that is used for any parking pay stations (if applicable) located throughout the City.
3. merchant account that is used for your mobile parking app (if applicable).

 A merchant account is required to accept credit/debit cards from customers at your smart parking meters/parking pay stations / mobile parking app (where applicable). Each month the merchant services provider sends the City a month-end statement that contains bank deposit information and transaction fee information from the prior months' transactions. 

Attached is the FOAA Request form completed through your City's website.

Thank you for your FOAA request dated July 23, 2021.

I have consulted with our Finance Department, and our staff does not have the month-end summary statements that you are specifically requesting. However, we can work to compile information regarding parking transactions during those months if that is something that would meet the needs of your request. 

If you would like us to move forward with this request, I will provide an estimate of the staff time that it would take to compile this information. It is the City of Biddeford’s policy to charge a $15/hour fee for requests that exceed one hour of staff time.
