2019 Capitol Improvement Projects

City Departments put together their lists of needs over the next five years in the area of capital spending for vehicles and equipment, infrastructure upgrades or other major cost items. These requests are consolidated into a Plan book, which is forwarded to the City Manager for his evaluation and possible alteration. Once the City Manager has finalized his recommendations, books containing the Plan documents are produced and presented to the City Council for their review.

The Plan is an informational document, designed to be used as a part of the budgeting process. It illustrates the state of the City's capital assets, their condition and what funding level will be necessary to preserve and maintain them, along with the ongoing needs of a progressive, adaptable City.
