Please be advised that a Public Hearing has been scheduled by the Citizen’s Advisory Committee for Wednesday, March 17, 2021 via Zoom for the purpose of obtaining citizen comment regarding an amendment to the Year 2 Action Plan (to address CDBG-CV (COVID) funds). This Public Hearing is pursuant to Biddeford’s participation in the programs noted above. Please be advised that a 5-day comment period for input regarding these programs will begin Friday, March 12 and end at 3:00, Wednesday, March 17.

The amendment to the Action Plan is to add a program using CDBG-CV (COVID) funds. Potential programs under consideration are 1. utility and mortgage assistance to Biddeford homeowners and 2. mental health services. There is $112,457 available for this program, a combination of new funds received and carryover funds from the COVID job retention program that was run in 2020.

Questions may also be answered through the same contact.
