The City of Biddeford has launched its first Facebook page in an effort to enhance its communication with citizens.
The new “City Government Biddeford Maine” page will be used to provide relevant updates on all City departments, including general government information such as public meetings, events, construction activity, and road closures.
“The launch of this page is an important development in our ongoing efforts to provide more choices for the public to interact with their local government.” said City Manager James Bennett. “We are actively working to improve all levels of communication from your city. There is no doubt that this is an extremely active period in the City’s history, with many unparalleled positive changes occurring. Effectively sharing information about those activities and being responsive to inquiries is critical for a highly engaged community.”
